POWERbreathe K3 Digital Breathing Trainer

$895.00

Advanced inspiratory muscle training with measurable results.

The POWERbreathe K3 is a digital breathing trainer for people who want detailed feedback and precise tracking as they build breathing strength over time. Unlike simple mechanical trainers, the K3 uses an electronic tapered-resistance valve that automatically adjusts through each breath, plus onboard testing tools to measure your progress session by session.

Whether you're focused on improving respiratory strength, supporting fitness and endurance, or using IMT as part of a health or rehabilitation program guided by a health professional, the K3 gives you the data to track real progress with confidence.

How It Works

Each time you breathe in through the K3, an electronic valve applies resistance that tapers automatically to match the natural decline in force through your breath — giving a fuller, more complete training breath than a fixed-resistance device. The built-in Single Breath Test measures your inspiratory strength and gives you an S-Index rating (poor to excellent) compared with population norms, while the T-Index Percentage shows how effective each session was.

Key Features

  • Single Breath Test to measure inspiratory muscle strength
  • S-Index rating (poor → excellent) comparing your strength to population norms
  • T-Index Percentage to assess how effective each training session is
  • Automatic resistance adjustment that adapts to your breathing in real time
  • Breath counter and session-end alerts to guide consistent training
  • Displays essential metrics including load, power and inhaled volume
  • Graphical history of 36 sessions, tracking cmH₂O, flow, power, load and volume
  • Inspiratory flow test modes for deeper assessment
  • Rechargeable via USB, and suitable for multiple users
  • Compact, lightweight and easy to use at home or in training environments

Recommended Use

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your Single Breath Test, then train using the resistance level the device recommends. Most users train in short daily or twice-daily sessions, reviewing their S-Index and session history over time to track improvement. If you're using the K3 as part of a rehabilitation or medical program, follow your doctor's or physiotherapist's guidance.

What's in the Box

  • POWERbreathe K3 device
  • AUS plug and USB charging lead
  • Charging cradle
  • Mouthpiece
  • Nose clip
  • Storage pouch
  • Cleansing tablets
  • User manual

Care and Cleaning

Remove the mouthpiece and valve head after each session and rinse in warm water, opening and closing the valve under the tap to clean the surfaces. Shake off excess water and leave to air dry. Once a week, soak the valve head in warm water with a cleansing tablet for around 10 minutes instead of a plain water rinse, then rinse and air dry. Keep the electronic display unit itself dry — only the mouthpiece and valve head should be rinsed or soaked.

Important Notes

Don't use the K3 while you have a cold, sinus infection or chest infection — wait until you're fully better. Training should never hurt — if it does, stop and see your doctor. Adult supervision is recommended for anyone under 16. If you're using this as part of a rehabilitation or medical program, follow your doctor's or physiotherapist's advice.
