The POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor is an accessory that transforms your POWERbreathe Plus or EX1 breathing trainer into a connected, digital training tool. It pairs via Bluetooth with the ActiBreathe® App, giving you real-time feedback, guided training sessions, and detailed performance tracking on your phone.
Designed for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone wanting more precision in their breathing training, the Smart Adaptor takes the guesswork out of your sessions by turning your training into measurable, personalised data.
How It Works
The Smart Adaptor attaches to your compatible POWERbreathe Plus (inspiratory) or EX1 (expiratory) trainer, or can be used on its own with the included Strength Test Plug. As you train, the device measures your breathing performance and sends the data via Bluetooth to the ActiBreathe® App, where it's translated into real-time feedback and session statistics.
App Features
The ActiBreathe® App guides you through four stages:
- Test – measure your current breathing strength to set a starting point
- Train – follow guided sessions with real-time feedback
- Analyse – track your progress over days, weeks, months and years
- Achieve – unlock awards as you build consistency
The app is available on iOS and Android in multiple languages.

Care and Cleaning
To clean the Smart Adaptor, make sure the USB port cover is in place and the device is switched off, then remove the mouthpiece from the main body. Wipe the main body and mouthpiece with a POWERbreathe cleaning wipe, paying close attention to the mouth and airway area. Let the device dry completely, with the POWERbreathe swirl facing upward for good air circulation, before placing it back in its case.
Note: POWERbreathe Plus and EX1 devices are sold separately and are not included with the Smart Adaptor.
